As we are passionate about industry success, we strive to tangibly improve the understanding of the hospitality, travel, and tourism industries in the GCC and wider Middle East through our research work. We collaborate with world renowned brands such as Phocuswright, Amadeus, Jumeirah, Tajawal, Almosafer and more to conduct studies, and we also instigate research of our own.
Below are a few examples of these collaborations.
MIDDLE EAST ONLINE TRAVEL OVERVIEW (Phocuswright)
Launched in 2012 in collaboration with Phocuswright, the world’s leading travel industry research authority, we have led four regionally renowned research studies that have become essential in the hospitality, travel, and tourism industries. The Middle East Online Travel Overview report delivers an in-depth understanding of the online travel markets in the Middle East with special focus on UAE, KSA, Qatar and Egypt.
A key component to the studies were interviews with top executives from a variety of travel supply segments. Using our extensive network and influential contacts in air, car rental, hotel, as well as travel intermediaries such as OTA, TA, and GDS, and travel technology providers we were able to:
-
Size the market for online bookings
-
Analyse booking channel mix
-
Highlight major trends and technologies shaping the marketplace
SHAPING THE FUTURE OF TRAVEL IN THE MIDDLE EAST (AMADEUS)
This travel research project was commissioned by Amadeus Middle East and produced by Insight | Out in collaboration with Frost & Sullivan. The white paper examined and contextualized the various ways a new travel landscape will develop in the Gulf region over the next fifteen years.
The report, titled Big Travel Effects, identified evolving demographic forces such as a steady inflow of expatriate workers, robust natural population growth, and a growing middle class as key drivers to creating a new and divergent set of travel behaviors and needs in the region.
CONSUMER TRAVEL REPORT 2018
A white paper commissioned by Jumeirah, Tajawal, Almosafer, and Amadeus and produced by Insight | Out in collaboration with Ipsos and Archers provided a better understanding of the key truths and problem areas throughout the ME consumer purchase journey for travel products and services. The report outlined practical recommendations for businesses to successfully connect with Middle Eastern customers at each touchpoint and win in the marketplace.
